Katy Perry Reportedly Turned Down $20 Million American Idol Deal

The Internet is buzzing that Katy Perry turned $20 million dollars to be an American Idol judge. That is a lot of freaking money but is there any truth to this rumor? TMZ broke the story that Perry had said no thank you to the powers that be at American Idol. The big wigs at the hit reality show were reportedly hoping that the ?Firework? singer would take a seat at the judge?s table. Apparently they were so desperate to have her on the show they went as high as $20 million to try and entice her, that was for only a one-year contract too. Despite the desperate attempt by those at AI, who allegedly relentless pursued Katy, she made it very clear she was not interested in doing the show. Yep apparently not even a hefty paycheck could convince her to give the show a chance. There are reports that she didn?t think it was the right career choice for her.
